OUR FIGHT FOR NATURE

Biodiversity is in danger all over the world. We're talking about the 6rd Mass extinction. The causes of this collapse are all the result of human activity. Its consequences are felt all over the world, causing serious effects on:

  • livelihoods,
  • the capacity to adapt to climate change,
  • the economy and the quality of life of human populations.

The destruction of nature thus threatens the survival of all humanity. Yet it is not too late to act. Together, we can reverse biodiversity loss.

Our story

For more than 20 years, Noé acts to protect nature on the brink of collapse. Our story is one of unwavering commitment to leaving future generations a vibrant and livable planet.

Arnaud Greth, veterinarian and biologist, then Scientific Director at WWF France, met Olivier Chiabodo, known for hosting several television programs. Together they created "Les carnets de Noé ", a documentary series for television. Aboard an explorer ship, the team sets out to meet men and women close to nature.

Solutions for ordinary biodiversity

The Bouygues Construction company provides considerable financial support to Noé, which makes it possible to imagine and launch new programs in France around ordinary biodiversity: protection of pollinating insects, fight against light pollution, development of buildings and land use, etc.

Noé is committed to international operations

Noé continues its adventure by opening up internationally. The association notably imagines nature conservation projects in Niger and Chad. Then in 2016, Noé gets involved by taking part in projects to delegate the management of protected areas in Africa.

Noé merges with the Man and Nature association.

The projects of this NGO, present mainly in Ghana and Cameroon, intervene on the outskirts of protected areas and with indigenous communities. The aim is to support them, with the help of local NGOs, in activities that help preserve biodiversity and generate sustainable income.
